How Pendi works
A neighborhood market where people actually show up. Here's the whole thing in five steps.

Find something you love
Browse within up to 50 miles, or search another city you're visiting. Tap the heart to save it. Have a question? Tap Ask—questions are private, but they don't hold the item.

Request Pendi
Pick one of the seller's pickup times, or suggest your own. Choose how you plan to pay at pickup (cash, Venmo, or what the seller offers).

Agree on a time
Buyer and seller can suggest times back and forth as long as needed. Until a time is accepted, backing out is always free.

Get the address
Sellers keep their exact address private and release it when they choose—like 2 hours before pickup. Open it in Google Maps for directions.

Meet, pay, and review
Inspect the item, pay the seller directly, and mark it done. Then leave stars, compliments, and an optional note for each other.
Neighbor standing & “Life Happens” passes
- Everyone gets 3 free passes every rolling 30 days, shared across buying and selling.
- A pass is used only if you cancel on your own after a time was agreed.
- Suggesting times, withdrawing before agreeing, and mutually agreeing to pass are always free.
- Lots of cancellations or no-shows in a month lead to a short pause—we'd rather welcome you back than lose you.
Payments
Pendi is free to join and never handles money. Buyers pay sellers directly at pickup.
