Community Guidelines
Pendi works because neighbors are neighborly. These are the few things we ask of everyone.
Be a neighbor who shows up
- Only request a Pendi you intend to pick up. Only accept a time you can keep.
- Plans change—just say so early. Talking it out and agreeing to pass is always free.
- Repeated cancellations or no-shows affect your neighbor standing and can lead to a pause.
Be honest and kind
- Describe items truthfully, including flaws. Use your own photos.
- Be respectful in chat. No harassment, hate, threats, or discrimination.
- Leave fair, honest reviews.
- Keep conversations about the listing. No spam, scams, or pushing people off-platform to pay in advance.
Not allowed on Pendi
- Anything illegal, stolen, counterfeit, or recalled
- Live animals or pets
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and weapons
- Alcohol, tobacco, vapes, cannabis, drugs, and drug paraphernalia
- Prescription medication and medical devices requiring a prescription
- Hazardous materials and chemicals
- Adult content or services
- Gift cards, cash equivalents, or financial products
- Personal data, accounts, or digital items you don't own
- Anything else we decide puts the community at risk
